Tom is living in La Russell, Missouri

On March 6, 1967, my brother was sent to Cam Ranh Bay Hospital with malaria.  When he left his outfit there were 35 troops; when he returned there were 17.  During an engagement 7 were Killed in Action and 26 were wounded.  The wounded were sent to the same hospital and  that is how he heard of their fallen.  He always felt he should have been there... but didn't all of you.  There is a bond among vets that no one will ever understand except them.

Below is information I found at the 35th Infantry website and published with their blessing - http://www.cacti35th.org/

Lost on 3/12/67 in the Idrang Valley - May their souls rest in peace.
