About Me - Leilani Brunson Jones
I was born in Davenport, Iowa. I still have my Midwestern standards firmly in place, God bless them. There's no better place to be raised. I'm living in Oceanside, CA now. I have a son with the world's best wife, two grandchildren, Ryan and Sarah, ages 8 and 5. If you want to get totally enveloped in my ego go to http://photogallery.learncomputersnow.net for a photographical tour of parts of my life. Bite the bullet. <grin>
Oceanside is the home of Camp Pendleton Marine Base. OooooRAH! Sorry... I had to say that. Oh... and how about the USMC flag! A shameless display of love for our United States Marine Corp. Sometimes I just can't help myself...<smile>

Gerald "Gerry" Jones
Gerry died on the Marine Corp birthday, so very typical of a man proud of his service in the Marine Corp. After separation from service he worked with the Devil Pup organization and was the El Centro representative recruiting for the Devil Pup summer camp at Camp Pendleton. After suffering 13 years of seizures due to a head injury in the field he passed away. He was 100% DAV. I miss his beautiful smile and sense of humor. I know Jones is over in Iraq watching over his Marine brothers and sisters, and greeting those who will not make it home. God bless our troops.
Would you like to help raise money for injured marines?
Take a look at the Veterans Journal at http://www.veteransjournal.net/cgi-bin/news/current_issue.cgi?page=14 You will have an opportunity to purchase a unique rendition of the marines at Iwo Jima. This painting has been signed with pride and honor by 49 living survivors of the battle of Iwo Jima who attended the 2007, 62nd Annual Memorial Dinner of Commemoration. I know our brotherhood of Vietnam vets strongly support our fighting men and women. I cannot think of a better place to start than with them. I thank you.
